This monumental showpiece is an absolute eye-catcher! It is a gigantic quartz cluster where the crystals are completely coated with a shiny layer of hematite (specularite), giving the crystal heads a deep, metallic-black luster. The sides show warm, reddish-brown and yellow iron oxides (limonite) that complete the dramatic appearance.

The combination of the jet-black, reflective crystal faces at the front and the fiery, rust-brown matrix at the side makes this enormous cluster extremely contrasting. This makes every detail of this impressive natural force clearly visible.
